PUBLIC HEALTH AIDE 1/ HOME HEALTH AND HOSPICE
The Home Health/Hospice program is seeking an intermittent home health and hospice aide for the position of Public Health Aide 1/Home Health and Hospice.
Completion of a nurse aide/home health aide certification program. Certified as a Nurse Assistant in the state of Ohio. Previous experience as an aide desired. Must maintain State of Ohio driver’s license and insurability according to policy.
Provides routine personal care for patients in the home as assigned. Performs simple dressing changes, monitors and records vital signs, observes patient status, and documents observations. Performs light housekeeping duties. Prepares charts and patient records as assigned. Provides in-home personal hygiene assistance to clients. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; must be able to work assigned evenings, weekends, and holidays. See attached job description for additional information.
Must maintain State of Ohio driver’s license, must maintain insurability according to policy.
Hours and Pay Range:
Position will be intermittent, Monday- Friday (with a potential of up to 21 hours/week).This position is non-exempt from overtime. Mileage reimbursement provided.
Position is in Pay Grade 1; pay range is $9.40 to $14.10/hour.
