The Henry County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a group of volunteers trained in emergency preparedness. The Medical Reserve Corps is a national network of volunteers, organized locally to improve the health and safety of their communities. The MRC network comprises 990 community-based units and almost 200,000 volunteers located throughout the United States and its territories.

Henry County MRC volunteers may assist the Health Department or its emergency partners during a public health emergency or natural disaster. These volunteers may also be called upon to assist with public health activities to improve the health of Henry County residents.
