Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

wicThe mission of WIC is to safeguard the health of low income pregnant women, breastfeeding moms and infants and children up to 5 years of age who are nutritionally or medically at risk.


Among the services WIC offers are:

  • Nutrition counseling on healthy eating during pregnancy infancy and childhood.
  • Breastfeeding support ,education, breastpump issuance and mother to mother counseling through the Peer Helper Programs.
  • Supplemental foods such as formula, baby food, milk, juice, eggs, and other nutritious foods.
  • Referral to other health care agencies.



Applicants must meet income guidelines or qualify for Medicaid in order to receive WIC benefits. Our clinic hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.  Late clinics and bilingual services are available.
