Tested for COVID-19?

Tested and Waiting for Results

If you have been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting for test results you should:

  1. Stay home while waiting for test results and away from others while you wait for your results, including people in your household, friends, co-workers.
  2. Pay attention to your symptoms and contact your healthcare provider if you develop symptoms or current symptoms worsen.
  3. Make a list of people you’ve been in contact with from 2 days prior to having symptoms to now.

Negative Test Results

You probably were not infected at the time your sample was collected. The test result only means that you did not have COVID-19 at the time of testing.

If you are a close contact of a positive case, you still need to complete your quarantine period.
