It emphasizes that seeking help is a sign of strength and that you are not alone in your experiences. By fostering a culture of understanding and compassion, the 4 Your Mental Health campaign strives to empower individuals to prioritize their mental health and build a more resilient community.

Youth Coalition Peer-to-Peer

The Henry County Health Department is excited to offer a Peer-to-Peer health education program to Henry County schools. Through this program, students will learn valuable skills like leadership, teamwork, and program coordination that will benefit them in college or the workforce. Peer education has been shown to be effective in helping young people make positive decisions about their health. As health topics are taught and learned throughout the school environment, positive social norms begin to develop, creating lasting change.

Students will have the opportunity to learn about and produce effective peer survey outreach material, analyze received data, create objective topics, and learn about and implement evidence-based programming utilizing a peer-to-peer method.
