people know us, the Henry County Health Department.

Seven Sections

The Health Department is organized into seven sections who carry out and support the various services that we provide here at HCHD

Environmental Health

Environmental health section addresses food, water, air, and overall environmental safety in the community.

Public Health Nursing

Programs and services in this section focus primarily on the health care needs of individuals, including immunizations & Children with Medical Handicaps

Administrative Services

This section supports operations of the entire Health Department and maintains vital records occurring in the county.

Innovation and Communication

Innovation and communication section provides data analysis to better understand the health of the community and empower informed decision making.

Community Health Services

This section focuses primarily on health education and promotion, emergency preparedness and response, and CHIP & CHA

Home Visiting

Home visiting provides support and education to families with infants and young children to promote the comprehensive health and development.

Henry County Cares

Henry County Cares links you to the services and resources you need. Our Community Health Workers (CHWs) help you get the care you need, connect to resources and support you every step of the way.
